On 11/9/11 I talked with my attorneys about filing Petition of Certiorari with the United States Supreme Court. That will be done very soon. The issues of the state withholding evidence from my trial lawyers should be enough to get me a new trial, and if it doesn't, the I am fortunate to have the DNA evidence that the state hid for ten years. I can file my actual innocence petition and hopefully get a new trial from the state court. State court judges are not afraid to grant new trials with DNA evidence plainly showing the need for one. It is not like before DNA when they are concerned about being swayed by evidence that wasn't precise like DNA, and maybe getting it wrong. My case is easy for the judge, the DNA evidence clearly shows that I am not the man that raped and murdered that poor woman. So giving me a new trial is not a chance he has to take, it is the right thing to do.

Anthony, I'm sorry Mary Anne was murdered. She was like an angel on earth. I understand her family stills hurts & they want the system to serve justice. I'm sorry our system convicted you without proper evidence. Thank Jesus for a new trial! I know what I saw that Thurs. night... hours before her death. Btw, when I drove in the wrong direction when my husband & I were going to the movies because I wanted to check on her because what I saw earlier. It caused my husband to yell at me because was I going north instead south. It was not you on that porch w/ her. It was those 2 men, one of which had started to rent from Mary Anne only 5 days or so prior, the 2nd I believe was related to the renter. In those short 5 days, BOTH men had already said nasty sexual comments to me from their downstairs front porch. On more than one occasion. I was afraid they were going to do what they did to her to me next. They knew I knew & they knew I lived just next door! I'm so sorry I could not have been more courageous in speaking up. I was afraid. I'm so sorry for Mary Anne & you too. My husband & I were already saving money to move out of our starter home & this situation accelerated the whole thing. I pray Jesus helps you in your retrial & helps folks see the truth! Peace be with you.
